Handling

The Frighteners tells the story of Frank Bannister, an architect who suffers a tragic car accident that kills his wife. Following this loss, Frank discovers he has the ability to communicate with the dead and uses this gift to con people. He begins passing himself off as an exorcist of evil spirits. However, when a demonic spirit appears, Frank may be the only one capable of stopping it from killing both the living and the dead.
