Thoroughbreds follows two upper-class teenage girls in suburban Connecticut who reconnect their unlikely friendship after years of growing apart. Together, they hatch a plan to solve their problems, no matter the cost. The film centers on these high school girls as they plot to kill one of their stepfathers.
