Handling

Hellboy is a 2004 American action horror film based on the character created by Mike Mignola. The story follows the half-demon Hellboy, who was summoned to Earth by the Nazis during World War II and subsequently rescued. Raised from infancy, he grows up to become a powerful defender against the forces of darkness. The film is directed and co-written by Guillermo del Toro and stars Ron Perlman, John Hurt, and Selma Blair.
