Handling

The eighth season of The X-Files takes place after Fox Mulder's alien abduction in the previous season. The agents are assisted by a grumpy old man with psychic powers who reveals details on impending deaths and helps them hunt a crazed killer who targets psychics. This mysterious figure also cryptically reveals the ultimate fates of Mulder and Scully. Furthermore, the second half of the season shifts focus to Scully's pregnancy arc.
