"The Meg" is a science fiction action thriller where Jason Statham plays Jonas Taylor, a deep-sea rescue diver. He is recruited to undertake a mission to the bottom of the ocean, but this rescue operation is terrorized by a massive, 75-foot-long prehistoric shark. Based on a novel by Steve Alten, the film follows Statham as he faces this colossal threat in the Pacific Ocean.
