Two Captains. One Destiny. It's the late 23rd century and retired Starfleet officers Scott, Chekov and Admiral James T. Kirk are guests aboard the maiden voyage of the new Enterprise B. When they receive a distress call from a vessel trapped inside the Nexus – a bizarre energy ribbon – Kirk sacrifices himself in a heroic effort to save the lives of its passengers.
