In 2080, Kidd (Andy Lau), the best cop and his wife, Millie (Fan Bing-bing), were urgently summoned to protect Dr. Masterson, widely acclaimed as the "Father Of Solar Energy". The oil tycoons, now pauperised, sent assassins Kalon (Fan Sui-wong) and Fiona (Tang Yi-fei) to kill the old doctor. A brutal fight ensued, Kalon and Fiona escaped unscathed but Mille was killed. Oil tycoons then sent Kalon and Fiona back to the year 2020 to murder the 12 year old Dr. Masterson. Kidd volunteered to "travel" back with his daughter Kiki (Xu Jiao) to protect the young Dr. Masterson. To avoid suspicion, he worked as a traffic policeman. Sergeant Masterson (Mike Ho), thought highly of him, and his fellow policewoman Holly (Barbie Hsu) was infatuated with him! Finally Kidd met Kalon and Fiona again in 2020, and a hi-tech futuristic fight between cyborgs and Super Warrior was about to ensue...
